Lalela scarves feature inspiring designs from young artists in Lalela after school programs. Proceeds from each scarf sale go towards helping young innovators find their voice and overcome the narrative of poverty through the transformative power of arts education.
This artwork was created by Alexandra, a creative 18 year old from Hout Bay who began her journey with Lalela in grade 3. She has a keen eye for design and loves illustration. Alexandra is a recent Lalela Leadership Academy alumnus and had already started her own creative business.
