This design gives a nod to the vintage Formica Top Tables of the 1950’s, often seen in kitchens and diners. In this interpretation, the angled legs and slim proportions elevate this piece into a more contemporary aesthetic. An undemanding yet striking design this piece works well as a small or large 2, 4 or 8 seater dining table, or as an entrance table.
The Tapered Leg Table is made with either a Fenix composite top or with a solid timber top. When made with a timber top, the edge of the top can be either the full 0.8", or it can have a thin fielded 0.35" edge for an added refined detail. While the thin edge lends itself to a more contemporary and crisp line, the full 0.8" edge gives the design more visual weight and falls into a more classic look. The Fenix composite top is exclusively made with a 0.35 thick fielded edge.
The Tapered Leg Table can also be modified to be lower or higher than our standard dining height, which makes for a lovely coffee table, a children’s play/dinner table, or a bar table. On this design, the table legs are removable and should you wish at a later stage to purchase regular length legs your coffee or children’s table can be turned back into a regular dining height.
