Originally developed in 2019, The Big Cat Youth Collection (as it was previously known) was created especially for Drew Goldie and Sebastian Byrnes, ex-Camps Bay High School students that were actively been involved in campaigning and fundraising for big cats & sanctuaries since 2016. The handmade big cats were created to raise money for big cat sanctuaries and to promote the plight of big cats in captivity in South Africa & Worldwide. We are a home-based business with a small team that handcraft this incredibly unique range of beautifully handmade lions, lionesses, tigers & leopards - all made with love & gratitude locally in Cape Town. Through this a work opportunity has been created within our local community. The big cats are high-end items and their quality exceptional (mostly Hertex donated fabrics). Locally made in Cape Town by our 2 talented African ladies, who through their self-taught skills, are now able to support their own families.
