    • Hand carved wooden hippo sculpture on a metal stand.
      Also referred to as Tar Berry wood, this wood is found in Zimbabwe along riverines, dams, swamps or as found wood in fields.
      The wood has a beautiful dark brown to reddish finish and has become one of the artist's favorites to work with over the years as it is soft and easy to work with.
