Lalela scarves feature inspiring designs from young artists in Lalela after school programs. Proceeds from each scarf sale go towards helping young innovators find their voice and overcome the narrative of poverty through the transformative power of arts education.
This artwork was created by Lucy and Anelisiwe, both high school students in Hout Bay. Lucy loves the meditative feeling she gets from the creative process of Lalela. She would like to pursue a career in Human Resources. Anelisiwe hopes to be a lawyer. She is an excellent team players and extremely proactive in our classes.
