S p e k t r u m is a growing body of work combining the traditional printmaking technique of blind embossing, photography, and Giclée printing. It is a continued practice of ensuing the fading African sun, on cloudless days, across vast open landscapes and seascapes. A short window in time where a complex yet subtle vignette of colours is exposed by the separation of light components and their different degrees of refraction. Each occurrence is unique, producing a 'one of kind' colour field.
